What to do in Tokyo - View mt. Fuji from the Shinkansen

Observe the Mount Fuji from the Tokaido Shinkansen window.

Traveling to Kyoto or Osaka from Tokyo? Try to reserve a seat E, which is the right window side. If not you can always go to the space between cars to look out. It is only a brief moment, say 10 mins to catch the view. After departing Tokyo there will be many tunnels and that's when you have to pay attention. You might even want to use your google map to monitor where you are. There is an outlet if you are lucky enough to reserve window side.

On sunny clear winter days, you can see Mount Fuji that appear so close to you and it is just beautiful. You can believe that 70% of Japan is actually forests and not ugly concrete buildings.

I maybe biased since it is so programmed in my gene. Growing up in Yokohama means that I always had this view but it just never tires me.

What to do in Tokyo - lingerie shopping

Buy your best ever lingerie at the Isetan department store.

Isetan is one of the most famous and successful department stores in Japan. It's full of the latest everything and anything. Among them I especially love the section of the lingeries. The products they have there are ordinary. What's extraordinary is the quality of the fitting service they have. When you ask, they will come into your fitting room and stick their hand inside your bra to make sure no meat is hanging outside of the cup. At first you might find it a little embarrassing. Trust me it's worth it. I used to think I'm B. When this lady took a quick glance at my shy boobs she advised politely that I'm D. I was like no way. Then she started and she was right. I can also say that I have almost never came home with what I originally chose myself. They always bring their recommendation according to your first pair. And they always fit better. Perfectly. You just can't go wrong with them.
